Firefly Luciferase mRNA (ARCA, 5-moUTP)
Firefly Luciferase mRNA (ARCA, 5-moUTP) encodes Firefly Luciferase (FLuc), a widely used bioluminescent reporter protein for gene expression analysis, live-cell imaging, and high-throughput screening assays. This mRNA is synthesized with an Anti-Reverse Cap Analog (ARCA) to ensure efficient translation initiation, while 5-methoxyuridine triphosphate (5-moUTP) modification enhances mRNA stability, reduces immunogenicity, and increases protein expression in mammalian cells. Upon substrate addition, Firefly Luciferase produces bright, quantitative bioluminescence, making it ideal for sensitive real-time monitoring of cellular and molecular processes.
